The dirty story you have to hear started when Dr. Natalie Eddington, director of the Pharmacokinetics-Biopharmaceutics Lab at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, studied 14 products containing glucosamine and another 11 products containing chondroitin.
Dr. Eddington made a shocking discovery!
The glucosamine and chondroitin products she studied DID NOT contain enough doses to do you — or anyone suffering from joint pain — any good.
Of the 14 glucosamine products that were studied, one contained a pathetic 25% of the active ingredient claimed on the label. The other 13 products studied were even worse, falling “significantly shy of label claims.”
Results of the chondroitin products study prompted even more gasps of horror. Four of the 11 products had less than half of what their labels claimed. And one contained almost NONE of the active ingredient!
